My goal is to provide you with high quality jewelry that you’ll love. If you have specific questions prior to your purchase, please contact me. Most of the time I can resolve any questions you may have by customizing pieces to your specific needs. In the event that you need to return your purchase, ALL REFUNDS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 3% RESTOCKING FEE and shipping charges. Thank you.

I accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and paypal.

Modifying an order within 24hrs of purchase

Once an order has been placed, please be advised that any modifications to the order (such as a change in stone, metal choice, or a cancellation) must be made within 24 hours of placing the order. If it has been longer than 24 hours, please see my return/exchange policy. Such changes may affect the price of the product and the shipping timeline. Please make all requests in writing to Kardiaofgold@gmail.com.

Refunds and Exchanges

I accept unworn/ non-personalized returns or exchanges (in original packaging / condition) on orders postmarked within 14 days of when your package was delivered. *Note: It is the customer’s responsibility to cover return/exchange shipping and handling.

Adjustments/Repairs:

  1.  If there are quality-related problems in the jewelry (ie. the chain of the necklace arrived broken), please contact me within 24hrs of package delivery at kardiaofgold@gmail.com for clarification of the issues and authorization for return shipping. I will repair and pay for the postage in both directions in this case. Refund for customer shipping will be limited to USPS First Class Mail rate only. *Please note that I cannot replace jewelry that has been broken/ damaged due to rough handling or normal wear and tear. Jewelry is delicate and fragile and should be handled with care.
  2. If you need to adjust chain length, put charms in a different place, add gems to a piece etc, please contact me at kardiaofgold@gmail.com *Note that there may be additional fees that apply. Customer will be responsible for S&H in both directions.

Returns for refund:

All returns will need prior authorization from me. Please contact me via kardiaofgold@gmail.com about the reason(s) for your return(s). Orders returned by customer without prior authorization from me will NOT be refunded and the package will be stored no longer than one month for sending back to customer until customer has paid for his/her return shipping.
Items that a customer doesn’t like due to his/her personal taste or expectations on the jewelry’s effect on him/her (ie: allergen to metals) will be refunded for the original price minus shipping and 3% restocking fee (customer is responsible for S&H the returned item + 3% restocking fee). Returns on orders must be postmarked for return within 14 days (in original packaging/ condition of jewelry) of when your package was delivered. Please allow up to 5 business days (once return is received by me) for refund to be sent back to customer.

Note For Shipping a Return/Exchange:

All return packages are to be prepaid, clearly marked with assigned Return Authorization #, and securely shipped.  It is highly advised that you return any jewelry in a protected package, with insurance and tracking.  Kardia of Gold does not accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves.
In order to obtain a return authorization #, a written request must first be made via email to: kardiaofgold@gmail.com If you attempt to return a product outside this process, your exchange/repair may be delayed or refused.

Unfortunately the following reasons will NOT be considered for returns:

a) Items that have been worn and damaged due to negligence: Jewelry is very delicate and should be handled with care.
b) Custom items, including, but not limited to: Items with customized chain length and customized stamped initials/words.
c) Inclusions/ fractures in stones: all natural stones have their own unique inclusions and fractures
d) Natural textures on the surface of fresh water pearls
e) Chain length within 0.5in of specified or customized length: Since all jewelry is hand-made, please allow some reasonable deviation from the specified or customized length.
g) Tarnished surface of sterling silver jewelry over time: All sterling silver jewelry will tarnish over time due to corrosion and oxidation by chemicals (from skin, cosmetics, soap, etc) and the moisture in the air.
h) Slightly misaligned, miss-centered or non-uniformly pressed initials/monograms:      All initials are stamped by hand with no more tools than a hammer and a stamp, so please allow slight misalignment, uneven spacing between characters, or unevenly stamped initials, which are true manifestations of a hand-crafted work. Please treat these as unique features of your jewelry rather than intolerable imperfections.

All that being said, if you are not completely happy with your purchase please email me right away and I will do my best to work with you so you feel great about your purchase from Kardia of Gold.
